Two-time cup winners – Eintracht Frankfurt mourns the loss of ex-goalkeeper Kunter GuardianMagazines

The Berlin native died after a short, serious illness, it was said. Kunter, who was just 1.76 meters tall, guarded the Hessen goal from 1965 to 1976. He won with Eintracht in 1974 and 1975 DFB-Cup. In total he played 287 competitive games for the traditional club.

In addition to his sporting career, Kunter also studied dentistry and received his doctorate in 1969. In 1972 he opened his first dental practice in Frankfurt. From 1977 to 1979, Kunter was also Vice President of Eintracht.
