The coach saw an overall improvement at Bayern: “All in all, we had a good week. The situation in the squad is getting better and better as the injured players return.”

The Munich workforce situation has actually improved significantly. In Darmstadt, nine professional players sat on the substitutes’ bench. There can’t be more in the Bundesliga, winter newcomer Bryan Zaragoza was therefore not called into the squad at all.

Tuchel, who will be leaving Bayern after the current season, sees a good mood in the team: “We have a good atmosphere and are training well – I’m glad we were able to continue with the win,” he said.

Now the majority of Bayern’s professionals are heading to their national teams – for example, the German national team is playing in France (March 23) and against the Netherlands (March 26).
