Jürgen Klopp (56) dramatically missed another chance for the title on his farewell tour with Liverpool FC.

The frustrating interview brought Klopp criticism on social media. Some fans called him a sore loser, others called his reaction to what they saw as legitimate questions unprofessional.

Klopp didn’t want to blame his team after the spectacle. “We tried absolutely everything, but today we didn’t get enough – not to say nothing,” said the Reds coach, who was leaving at the end of the season.

It was “absolutely extraordinary what we played here,” said the German, “but we didn’t close the game. And if you leave it open, away at Old Trafford – it’s clear that they’ll get chances.”

In the end it was “really hard for us,” Klopp admitted: “It was the first time I saw my team while they were struggling.” Both teams fought extremely hard to reach the semi-finals and were aware of that He said he was fully aware of the importance of the game.
