She is happily married to Karim Kamoun.  Ons Jabeur husband Karim is an  Russian-Tunisian with an impressive sporting pedigree of his own and now works as a fitness coach. He is professional fencer who has represented Tunisia in numerous international tournaments; and master’s degree in sports science and in 2017 made the transition from his own sporting career to becoming Jabeur’s physical trainer. Regularly, participated in the African Fencing Championships and Pan Arab games.

Jabeur and Karim started dating in 2013. After two of long relationship, the couple tied the knot in 2015. Tennis star confirmed the news via Twitter “Happy To announce and Karim just got married”. Ons Jabeur was born on 28 august 1994 in Ksar Hellal, Monastir, Tunisia. His parents were Samira and Ridha Jabeur.Jabeur grew up in the larger nearby coastal town of Sousse.she has two older brothers, Hatem and Marwen, and an older sister.. Jabeur, inspired from his mother, played tennis recreationally and introduced her to the sport at the age of three. She is also trained under coach Nabil Mlika for ten years from ages four to thirteen, currently starting to work with him at a tennis promotion Centre at her school.

At ten years old, her club did not have their own tennis courts so she could only train on courts at nearby hotels. At twelve years old, she moved to the capital city of Tunis to train at the Lycée Sportif El Menzah, a national sport high school for the country’s up-and-coming athletes. Ons Jabeur also later trained in Belgium and France starting at the age of 16. Growing up, Jabeur said, “My parents sacrificed a lot of things – my mom used to drive me everywhere around Tunisia to go play the tournaments, and she encouraged me to go to school for study. That a big sacrifice to see her little girl going for a dream that, honestly, wasn’t 100% guaranteed. Her mother believed in me and gave me the confidence to be there. Jabeur gives credited to his parents for her success.
